Talk Like a Pirate Day was held at the Queensland Maritime Museum on Monday 19th September and our Pirate Ship Jumping Castle and Slide fit right into the theme!

Pirates, swashbuckling, fun and festivities lined the grounds at South Brisbane for a truly great cause – to promote awareness of childhood cancer in Australia. Some of the fun activities included dress ups, fairy floss, popcorn, clowns, a V8 racing ute, sausage sizzle and so much more entertainment for the kids (great start to the September school holidays!)

What is Talk Like a Pirate Day?

Talk Like a Pirate Day is a major fundraiser for Childhood Cancer Support who are a not-for-profit organisation who provide families affected by childhood cancer with a place to live during difficult times.

The event is simple – dress up like a pirate, talk like a pirate and most importantly – have fun and raise funds!

How can I get involved with Talk Like a Pirate Day?
