Requirements (expected proficiencies):
Perform physical activities for extended periods without breaks
Accurately & quickly identify equipment for loading
Attention to detail hyperactivity 🙂
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
Ability to interpret and process warehouse documentation such as packing lists and run sheets
Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision and guidance
Forklift ticket & open manual car license

YOUR TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

Daily warehouse activity including picking, packing, receiving, dispatch, handling, storing & maintenance of all hire & warehouse equipment
Loading & unloading vehicles
Achieving vehicle accuracy & dispatch times
Inventory management including cleanliness, maintenance and refurbishment
Warehouse upkeep and tidiness
Following open/close procedures

WE NEED SOMEONE WHO:

Is meticulous in all facets of daily Warehouse Operations
Has proven experience achieving accuracy in a picking/packing role
Has a keen eye and loves to ensure they get things done right the first time
Can work individually or within a team
Can accurately follow processes and procedures
Is fit & loves being on their feet all day

Frequently Asked Questions About This Position

What will my working hours be?

General working hours are between 8.00am – 4.00pm however these may vary slightly pending the volume of events we have at any one time.

The role works on a rotating roster covering all days (Monday-Sunday) and provides multiple long weekends every quarter!

Where will I be working?

Our warehouse is based in Geebung on Brisbane’s Northside and for the most part you will work here. You’ll also be working on site across Brisbane at various events completing bump in and bump out at events

What type of work will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for picking and packing event hire equipment, loading and unloading vehicles, setting up or packing down both small and large events within the community, inventory management, repairs and maintenance of equipment and various other warehouse duties

How much do I get paid?

We pay above award wages dependent on your experience, competencies and demonstrated ability to complete a task or job.

Overtime and after hours event rates also available

Do I need a drivers license?

Yes, you will require an open manual driver’s license for this role

Do I need to be physically fit?

Warehouse work is fundamentally a physical role, so yes. The type of equipment we handle and maintain also requires someone that is physically fit and can handle a fast paced work environment.

You don’t need to be Arnold Schwarzenneger but you do need to be able to move quickly, lift things frequently and be used to being on your feet
