Planning a marquee wedding in Brisbane and SEQ
Spring and summer are peak wedding season in South East Queensland, and Saturdays go first. Once you’ve locked in your date and venue, sort your wedding marquee hire next, then build the furniture, linen and lighting around it.
- Treat the marquee as your wet-weather plan. Brisbane’s storm season brings fast-moving afternoon storms through the warmer months. A marquee lets the ceremony, speeches and dancing go ahead whatever the sky does.
- Plan for the heat. Summer afternoons can be tough on guests in suits and long dresses. Shade over the ceremony seating, a portable misting fan or two, and plenty of shaded lounge space make a real difference.
- Walk the site early. For garden, backyard and property weddings, note gate widths, slopes, soft ground and overhanging trees. Event flooring helps level out uneven lawns and gives you a proper dance floor.
- Choose how much help you want. Our crew can install the whole setup, including the marquee, wedding furniture, linen and lighting, or put up just the marquee so you or your stylist can decorate it.
- Leave room for the morning after. Weekend weddings are usually collected between Sunday and Tuesday, so nobody has to pack down at midnight.

Can you supply a backyard or garden wedding?
Yes. Many of our wedding bookings are at private homes and properties. Pair a marquee with lighting, toilets and bins and your backyard becomes the venue.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, especially for spring and summer Saturdays. Our website shows live availability, so pop your date into any product page to see what’s free.
Can you set everything up for us?
Absolutely, it’s up to you. Our crew can install the lot, from the marquee and flooring to tables, chairs, lighting and furniture. Or we’ll put up the marquee and you can style the rest exactly how you picture it.
When will my order be delivered and collected?
Weekend bookings are usually delivered Wednesday to Saturday and collected Sunday to Wednesday. You’ll get a two-hour delivery window by email and text 24 to 48 hours beforehand.
Can I pick up the gear myself?
No. We don’t offer warehouse pick-up for larger equipment like wedding marquees. Smaller equipment can be collected from our warehouse by appointment
